Welcome to 2017

Kingsthorpe Jets Youth Football Club (KJYFC) currently have teams from Under 7’s to Under 18’s.  The club ethos is Safer Soccer for Kingsthorpe Kids and we aim to make football fun for all of our age groups and, whilst it is nice to win most games, we consider it more important for the children (and youths) to enjoy playing and learning the beautiful game.

WaGs Frock Swap 14th September 2017

This year we are launching a new fund raising initiative aimed at the mums, wives, girlfriends, sisters, etc of players (‘WaGs’). A programme of monthly events has been drawn up for the year by Andrea Wright, starting with a ‘Frock Swop’ at the Obelisk Centre (NN2 8UE) on Thursday 14 September @ 7:00pm.  More details can be found here.

Charter Standard Club

KJYFC are proud to be a FA Charter Standard club.   The Charter Standard is awarded to clubs and leagues that are well run, sustainable, which place child protection, quality coaching and safety paramount.  In order to retain our status we have to meet and maintain certain criteria such as having a trained Welfare Officer, DBS checks for all volunteers and a Level One coach for each team.

Clubmark Club

KJYFC are also proud to have the Clubmark Quality Club Accreditation. This shows that the club provides the right environment which ensures the welfare of members and encourages everyone to enjoy sport and stay involved throughout their lives. As an accredited club we are recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages as well as helping parents and carers know that they are choosing the right club for their young people.

What You Will Find On Our Website

Each team has an individual web page where you will find some information about the team, perhaps a short bio for the manager(s) and their assistants and contact details for the manager.  If you are interested in joining one of the teams and you live in or around the Kingsthorpe area, ask your parent/carer to contact the appropriate manager for your age group either by email or phone for further information.

The club aims to keep subscriptions as low as possible however, winter training, which is normally held under floodlights or in a sports hall  at one of the local facilities drains our club finances therefore each year we run several fund raising events including our annual summer 6-a-side tournament and a horse racing night.  Details of events will be published, as soon as they are confirmed, on the Events page.

Copies of the league registration documents and club administration forms, along with any other relevant paperwork (either for managers and/or parents/carers) will be found on the Documents page.
