Kingsthorpe Jets Tigers earned a strong league victory over Drayton Grange U9 at Kingsthorpe Rec on Saturday, 26 September.
The game began with end-to-end action before Agam opened the scoring with a superb volley from just inside the opposition half. The Tigers grew into the match from there, taking control and adding further well-worked goals.
Agam, Theo and Teddy all found the net, and the Tigers goalkeeper also scored after coming out of goal to play on the pitch, something that has become a familiar sight for the team. The squad kept a clean sheet, making it back-to-back shutouts.
Agam was named Player of the Match for his effort, two goals and two assists. His long-range volley was one of the standout moments, alongside the well-worked goal finished by the goalkeeper.
Kieran Froggatt praised the team’s communication and build-up play.
The Tigers now look ahead to an away fixture against Crick Colts U10.
A special thank you to the Tigers’ team sponsor, James Anthony Estate Agents, for their continued support.
