This Saturday, 20 June, the Kingsthorpe Jets family comes together at Barratts for our 2025/2026 End of Season Presentation Day.
It is one of the biggest days in the club calendar and a chance to celebrate the players, coaches, volunteers, families and supporters who have made this season so special. From our youngest Micro Jets through to our senior squads, Saturday is about recognising every player who has worn the Jets badge with pride.
The 2025/2026 season has been another huge year for Kingsthorpe Jets. With 40 teams and more than 500 players representing the club, Jets continues to grow as one of the largest grassroots clubs in Northamptonshire.
There have been some brilliant highlights across the season. Our U13 Typhoons completed a superb league and cup double, securing the league title with a 10-3 away win before going on to win their Plate Cup Final in style. Our U16 girls’ team, Majesty, also enjoyed an outstanding campaign, winning the Bedfordshire Women’s and Girls League 2 title and signing off with a 7-2 away win over Woburn.
Our U14 Sabres gave the club another huge moment by winning their County Cup Final at Sixfields Stadium, producing a fantastic 4-1 victory over Moulton Whites on one of the biggest stages in local grassroots football.
It has also been a season full of cup finals and big occasions across the club, with teams including Comets, Ladies Phoenix, Hurricanes, Harriers, Typhoons, Prodigy, Sabres and Reserves all representing Jets in finals. Every squad has played its part in making this a season to remember.
Away from league and cup action, the club has continued to grow across all areas. Our training sessions, Wildcats, Mini Jets, Comets disability football, Walking Football and holiday camps have helped more players and families get involved with the club. Our 2026 Summer Tournament was another major success too, with 103 teams, 1,025 players, 584 games, 818 goals and 4,854 minutes of football across the weekend.
A huge part of Presentation Day is also about saying thank you. A club of this size only works because of the time and effort given by so many people behind the scenes. From our committee and coaches to the parents, helpers, volunteers and sponsors who support teams every week, your contribution makes Kingsthorpe Jets what it is.
